I am so excited to be writing my very first “LOCAL HEROES” coloumn at last.
However I must admit it was extremely difficult to choose who to feature first, as I have had the pleasure in meeting so many worthy, talented and inspirational wellness warriors, all with an intriguing story, and truly astounding products. So after placing all of my cards, flyers and scraps of paper in a hat, I am honoured to have picked out Toby and Rosie.
Toby and Rosie are based in NSW, Australia and are seriously committed to developing cruelty free, sustainable, non-toxic, and natural skincare.
All of their gorgeous products are lovingly handmade and crafted by themselves, utilising the purest, freshest and healthiest ingredients possible.
Toby met Rosie in Guatemala in 2009 whilst he was a young, free and single traveller, nevertheless that soon changed once he set eyes on Rosie and fell head over heels in love with her.
After a whirlwind romance, Toby romantically proposed on New Years Eve, and in 2011 they both returned together to Toby’s homeland of Australia, where they tied the knot in beautiful Byron Bay.
Through their passion to live a healthy, ethical lifestyle, and an increasing awareness of the detrimental effectst of pollutants hidden within everyday conventional skincare products, it was not long before this dynamic duo were producing their own natural, healthy, chemical free formulas.
The products were originally created for personal use, however the more knowledge they gained of the damning effects of conventional skincare items, it was not long before they became compelled to spread the word and their findings with family, friends and anyone who would listen!
Through hard work, determination and a strong belief in the importance of sharing their findings and handywork with others, Toby and Rosie set about producing and selling their beautiful products to the public.
This truly inspirational couple believe it is their destiny to help and encourage others who wish to improve their health, wellness and appearance by ensuring all of their formulas are, accesible, effective, and affordable to everyone.

I have not tried all of their products, but the ones I have tried have all been completely addictive.
